Biography & Research Interest

She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, as well as Bachelor's and Licentiate (Teaching) degrees in Chemistry from the same university. She has experience in the field of Analytical Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation and Chromatographic Methods, working mainly on the following topics: Standardization of Chromatographic Methods coupled to Mass Spectrometry, Miniaturized Sample Preparation Techniques, Development of new Extraction Phases, Development of substrates for ambient ionization sources in mass spectrometry, Automation of Analytical Systems, and Analytical Validation.

Currently, she is a professor at the Institute of Chemistry at the Federal University of Goiás, coordinator of the Laboratory of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LaCEM - IQ UFG), and a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at the same institution. Her administrative activities include coordinating the Central Multi-user Analytical Laboratory of IQ-UFG from 2016 to 2019 and coordinating internships for the Industrial Chemistry Bachelor's program from 2020 to 2023. She has been an effective member of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ) since 2015, where she served as Vice-Secretary and Secretary of the SBQ Goiás Regional Chapter (SBQ-GO) for the 2018-2022 term. Since 2022, she has been the coordinator of the Lato Sensu postgraduate course, "Analytical Technologies and Processes Applied to Industry" (TAPAI). Mother of Heitor (2014) and Elisa (2016).

Her experience in Analytical Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation and Chromatographic Methods, focuses on the following topics:

i) Standardization of Chromatographic Methods coupled to Mass Spectrometry; ii) Miniaturized Sample Preparation Techniques; iii) Development of new Extraction Phases; iv) Automation of Analytical Systems; v) Analytical Validation.
